Reviewer
[edit]Hello. Your account has been granted the "reviewer" userright, allowing you to review other users' edits on certain flagged pages. Pending changes, also known as flagged protection, is currently undergoing a two-month trial scheduled to end 15 August 2010.
Reviewers can review edits made by users who are not autoconfirmed to articles placed under pending changes. Pending changes is applied to only a small number of articles, similarly to how semi-protection is applied but in a more controlled way for the trial. The list of articles with pending changes awaiting review is located at Special:OldReviewedPages.
When reviewing, edits should be accepted if they are not obvious vandalism or BLP violations, and not clearly problematic in light of the reason given for protection (see Wikipedia:Reviewing process). More detailed documentation and guidelines can be found here.
If you do not want this userright, you may ask any administrator to remove it for you at any time. --Ϫ 22:03, 25 June 2010 (UTC)
British monarch categories
[edit]DBD, can we delete Category:Queens regnant of the United Kingdom? It is a small category with little room for expansion, since there are only two and the next four people in the line of succession are men. I'd like to move all the UK monarchs back into the singleCategory:Monarchs of the United Kingdom and add Victoria to Category:Queens regnant instead per WP:SMALLCAT. Thanks.DrKiernan (talk) 14:47, 28 June 2010 (UTC)

template needing your help please
[edit]Template:Hereditary barons of England - Kittybrewster ☎ 08:33, 22 July 2010 (UTC)
- One of them is linked! Kittybrewster ☎ 10:05, 22 July 2010 (UTC)
- There are now two English barony templates, one of which I created last night and is linked to each Barony. One needs deleting. There are other templates which are not linked to the relevant baronies (Scotland, Ireland and GB). Kittybrewster ☎ 11:45, 22 July 2010 (UTC)
- Your templates need to be linked to something. Kittybrewster ☎ 21:54, 22 July 2010 (UTC)

Geoffrey ... not quite Plantagenet...
[edit]I could deal with the title being named "Geoffrey (bishop)" or "Geoffrey (Archbishop of York)" but neither of the main sources used for Geoffrey's article call him "Geoffrey Plantagent". Both Oxford Dictionary of National Biography and the Handbook of British Chronology give his name as "Geoffrey" alone. Nor does Gillingham in Richard I call him Plantagenet and Warren's Henry II puts the Plantagenet in scare quotes. Might want to rethink the name for that article. Ealdgyth - Talk 22:34, 28 July 2010 (UTC)
- Okay, fair point. The Wikipedia:Naming conventions (clergy) suggest it should be at Geoffrey (bishop) then. Would you like to?DBD 22:37, 28 July 2010 (UTC)

Template:Infobox Peer
[edit]Hi! Do you remember that, long time ago, I suggested creating an infobox for peers? Well, we now have Template:Infobox Peer... but's hideous! Unfortunatly, the user who created it thinks it's beautiful and considers Template:Infobox Royalty hideous, and I don't want to argue about that (de gustibus non disputandum). He agreed to make at least the title field similar to Infobox royalty's succession field. Unfortunatly, I can't do it no matter how much I tried. Could you try, please? The infobox could be quite useful in so many articles, but it's currently too ugly for me to look at. The Spy Who Came in from the Cold (talk) 21:41, 30 August 2010 (UTC)
E. F. Benson
[edit]Hi - I notice that a few weeks ago you moved Edward Frederic Benson to Edward Benson (writer). I just wanted to let you know that I've proposed a further move, to E. F. Benson over redirect. I've left a rationale at Talk:Edward Benson (writer). As you were involved in a recent naming decision, I wanted to ensure you had the chance to comment if you felt strongly about it. - Ok. So I was bold (i.e. I did nothing wrong), you reverted, so now let's discuss DBD 16:38, 30 September 2010 (UTC)
Hi. I don't understand the reasoning behind moving Morton from (archbishop) to (bishop), bearing in mind that he is much better known as Archbishop of Canterbury. I don't see anything in the naming conventions to support this. Deb (talk) 19:45, 5 October 2010 (UTC)
